Following a 10 year career in banking and financial services, Dan spent 11 years in residential development and construction management with a Fortune 500 homebuilder. A passionate student of architectural style and neighborhood character, he and his wife remodeled and reconstructed numerous homes for their personal use before founding Provenance Builders in 2006. He maintains an active role in all Provenance projects and brings a unique blend of financial, design and construction expertise to the client experience. A native of North Carolina, Dan is a graduate of Davidson College and received his MBA with honors at the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business. Currently serving the Park Cities Historical and Preservation Society as a Board Member, he is also a graduate of Leadership University Park, is an active supporter of various HPISD programs, and shares a passion for historical aircraft and classic cars. Dan lives in the Park Cities with his wife and two daughters.
Steven is from Lubbock, Texas and graduated from TCU in Fort Worth. He spent several years working in the commercial real estate industry in project management, property management and brokerage. Building upon upon this experience, Steven founded a residential real estate investment firm focused on renovation and rehabilitation of older homes in East Dallas. As a Project Manager, it is Steven’s passion for architectural detail, quality craftsmanship, and efficient construction practice that allows him to deliver high quality results for our clients. Steven lives in East Dallas with his wife and daughter...and their "first child" Layla, a yellow lab. They enjoy spending time outside, hiking, skiing and cheering on the Horned Frogs in the Fall. Steven also enjoys fly fishing, hunting and Ultimate Frisbee.
Born in California, Brittany grew up and attended college in Oklahoma. After graduating with honors from Oklahoma State University, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design and Merchandising, Brittany moved to Dallas and began her transition to becoming a Texan. She brings 8 years of interior design and merchandising experience and 5 years of project management experience to the Provenance Team as Project Design Manager. She enjoys staying actively involved in industry organizations, attending trade association events, and building relationships within the Dallas design community. She is recently married and with her husband, a native Texan, claims North Dallas as home. Her passions include interior design, scuba diving, traveling, DIY projects, photography, and spending quality time with loved ones - including their young Golden Retriever, “Harper.”
